In this week’s release you will be able to find Peacemaker Lairs – underground caverns where the Peacemaker butterflies keep their Cows. You can use these Cows and milk them for honey, but you’ll have to fight your way through the Butterflies protecting them first!
Peacemaker Lair
In the darkness beneath the Villages and Pillager Outposts lies something more sinister. Butterflies waiting to infect their hosts, a slow takeover of your Minecraft worlds. Where did these creatures come from, and what is it they want? They don’t seem to come in Peace as their name might suggest…

As always, if you spot any bugs or have any suggestions, please feel free to open a ticket.
A New Checklist
To implement the Peacemaker Lair, I implemented a Placed Feature. These are used in Minecraft for smaller structures, including Monster Rooms (that you may know better as “dungeons”). Since it took me a while to figure out how to do this properly, I added a new checklist to use for future reference if I ever need to implement this again in the future.
Coming Soon
Now that Peacemaker Butterflies have been implemented, this mod is close to finished. I’ve got plans to add some more butterflies, and even some more potentially hostile mobs. But I’m starting to think about what to move onto next. I want to keep creating mods, but I’m not sure what to work on next.
A few ideas include Bok’s Banging Birds, a mod that adds more birds to Minecraft; a food mod that updates wheat to include new recipes and demons based on German folklore; or a mod that tries to improve combat by adding a swathe of weapons and armour.
So keep an eye out for these, or maybe even something completely different!
