Playing My Steam Library
So many unplayed games in my library… Let’s play them all!
Creating Spaghetti Tracks
I’ve now spent about two hours with Train Valley, and I’ve finished the first chapter. I’ve got a much better sense of the game and how it works now. At first it feels relaxing, but things can spiral out of control fast.
Simplicity of Train Valley
I’m back trying to play every game in my Steam Library, and this time I’m playing one about trains. It’s a very simple puzzle game that can quickly get overwhelming if you don’t plan your tracks carefully. Confusion and explosions abound in this fun little game.
Dark Forces on Hard Difficulty
I completed STAR WARS: Dark Forces on the easiest difficulty. I had so much fun with the game that I decided to try the game on its hardest setting instead. It turns out that playing it this way turns it into a completely different game.
Fun with Star Wars: Dark Forces
Star Wars: Dark Forces is an old-skool FPS similar to Doom, only it’s set in the Star Wars universe.
Grim Fandango Remastered
I’ve started playing a classic game inspired by the Mexican Day of the Dead. You play a Grim Reaper who’s not so great at his job, but ends up discovering a conspiracy in the afterlife. I’m playing through the remastered version of the game and so far, it’s pretty entertaining.
Lego: Star Wars: The Complete Saga
This week I tried to get into an older game that combines two of the best things in the world. I was extremely hyped to start playing this game. Lego and Star Wars in one package, what could possibly go wrong?
Minion Masters Monetisation
Minion Masters is a “free” game on Steam that is free in all the ways you would expect it to be free. It creates a unique experience by combining card-collecting with tower defense gameplay, but it fails to provide an interesting enough experience to justify its pay-to-win mechanics.
The Slow Death of a Queendom
I kept playing Kingdom: Classic this week in an attempt to see if I could complete the game. I didn’t get that far, but a run I had showed me how to play it better.
Going Back to Kingdom: Classic
I’m back in the default world, so back to playing through my Steam Library once again. I already played the sequel to this game, so it’s interesting to go back to the original and see where it started.
