After saving a child from a baby wyvern in Nashkel, we tried to find him to make sure he was still alive. Our search was fruitless, until we returned to Nashkel’s main street and found the kid talking to a few local soldiers.

In Nashkel we have learned of the many troubles in the area: that Brage, the captain of the guard has become a fugitive for murdering his family; the mines are producing inferior ore (and may be haunted by demons); and that there are hauntings afoot in the town.

After clearing out as many hobgoblins as we can from the Trade Way, we travel to Nashkel on the outskirts of Amn. Verr’Sza reverts himself back to human form. Drake is happy to be closer to home once again.

We travel for half a day back to the Friendly Arm Inn without incident. Inside we meet some old friends, including Xzar and Montaron.

After sixteen uneventful hours of travelling, we arrive at the southern end of the Trade Way. We’re not far from Nashkel now, but we remain alert. The road has been full of hobgoblins and ogre-kin on our journey thus far.

We find ourselves in Gavin’s old home, which has a new occupant. Emily distracts everyone with a story about her necklace while Aura slips into the back room.

We follow the path back to Coast Way. Jaheira spots something shiny in a rock near the path.

We return to the third floor of the Inn. Cronius is still in his room with the “statue”.
