I’ve now spent about two hours with Train Valley, and I’ve finished the first chapter. I’ve got a much better sense of the game and how it works now. At first it feels relaxing, but things can spiral out of control fast.
Video Games
I do this for a living and for fun.
Preparations for a Rescue
Upon returning to the Friendly Arm Inn from their expedition to the Cloakwood, the Troupe meets Jet’Laya who has asked them for help finding her missing sister. They make their way inside the fort to rest and prepare for the quest, but first they must deliver some tragic news.
Simplicity of Train Valley
I’m back trying to play every game in my Steam Library, and this time I’m playing one about trains. It’s a very simple puzzle game that can quickly get overwhelming if you don’t plan your tracks carefully. Confusion and explosions abound in this fun little game.
Conversations in the Cloakwood
After destroying the Cloakwood Mines, the Troupe have put a thorn in the Iron Throne’s operations. They now make their way back through the Cloakwood, hoping for a safe return to civilisation. They leave the domain of the Shadow Druids and now must fight their way through spider territory.
Dark Forces on Hard Difficulty
I completed STAR WARS: Dark Forces on the easiest difficulty. I had so much fun with the game that I decided to try the game on its hardest setting instead. It turns out that playing it this way turns it into a completely different game.
Once There, Now Back Again
The Troupe have destroyed the Cloakwood Mine once and for all. Upon leaving the mine they found Perwell and agreed to escort him to his mother. But they were quickly assaulted by Shadow Druids, who slayed the young boy during the fight.
Fun with Star Wars: Dark Forces
Star Wars: Dark Forces is an old-skool FPS similar to Doom, only it’s set in the Star Wars universe.
The Protectors of Perwell
Aegon and the Troupe have made their way deep into the Cloakwood Mines, slain Davaeorn, and found the key to the river plug. Now they return to the river plug to destroy the mine and heal the scar left by the Iron Throne.
Grim Fandango Remastered
I’ve started playing a classic game inspired by the Mexican Day of the Dead. You play a Grim Reaper who’s not so great at his job, but ends up discovering a conspiracy in the afterlife. I’m playing through the remastered version of the game and so far, it’s pretty entertaining.
Searching Davaeorn’s Lair
Aegon and the Troupe have descended to the lowest level of the mines and faced up against Davaeorn and his mercenaries.
