I’ve been playing ABZÛ a lot more recently, trying to explore the things I’ve missed up to now. It turns out there is a lot more to this game than I noticed on my first play through.

Pinning Up Butterfly Corpses
I’ve always struggled to get my head around modern day rendering code. There’s a reason I became a network and server programmer. Still, I managed to get this working in the end. Though I’m sure my computer knows many more swear works now.
Dreaming of White Animals
I found this entry in my dream diary so I edited it into a short story. I remember when I woke from this dream I was laughing to tears. It’s probably not as hilarious as I remember it. Even if it’s not that funny, it’s definitely weird.

The Troupe got distracted once again, after every paladin we met started trying to slay the half-orc, Dorn. Gavin was tasked by Lathander to hunt the murderer Bassilus so they set off to find him. During their search they came across a talking chicken who needed our help.
Yin Yang Festival: Party on the Great Wall
One of the seven wonders of the world can be found in China. So, of course, the one time I visited it was when there was a music festival. For six years, The Mansion Project of Shanghai would run the Yin Yang Festival on the Great Wall in Tianjin.

Forks, Branches, and Scrolls
I’ve finally released the butterfly mod, but I’m still not done. Now I’m working on the next release which will have a few extra features. This week I’ve been working on Butterfly Scrolls – a new way to create a collection of butterflies.

During the Bram Stoker Festival in Dublin, we went to the Pepper Canister Church for a screening of Faust. It’s a film you always hear about, one you always intend to watch, but also one you never get around to see.

The Troupe helped Isra save Prism by defeating the bounty hunter Greywolf. Now they shall enter the Nashkel Mines in an attempt to solve the mining crisis. If they can solve this problem, then perhaps Braegar will finally calm his nerves.
Croagh Patrick: Ireland’s Holiest Mountain
I don’t feel quite ready for Ireland’s highest mountain just yet, so instead I went for the holiest instead. Croagh Patrick, also known as the Reek, is a pilgrimage site where it is said that St. Patrick expelled the snakes from Ireland.
